Chrisman Studios began with Ben. Then along came Erin. Then Vlad. Then Mauricio. Then Ryan. Together, these five photographers are known for photographs that are emotionally raw, beautifully mysterious, fearlessly sexy, and often downright surreal. Chrisman Studios photographers work with complex lighting and composition to show people what they cannot see with their own eyes, whether through multi-layered reflections, shooting through abstract objects they find on the scene, or simply through anticipating crucial, fleeting moments before they occur. This mission drives their art, fulfills their souls and satisfies a desire to either restore order, or destroy it.

ADOBE – To travel means to be able to adapt. It begs being humble enough to ask a stranger for help, and requires you to be the person to help the next stranger. It demands a spirit that can tolerate the worst of conditions, all with the knowledge that the struggle should bring out the best of you. And while impossibly hard, these moments will always birth the best stories, and the best photographs. These five presets aim to harness that spirit of being alone, in the unknown, surrounded by everyone you’ve never met but will, while remaining who you are and where you came from.
